August 2011 Summerlit featured talks by Jennifer and Clare Christian on aspects of writing the book and publishing it. Jennifer offered four workshops in her series Unleash Your imagination. This is an organic approach, which encourages the writer to sift through experience and allow it to compost in the imagination until something takes root and blooms into stories. The daily writing practice meanwhile sustains the writing muscle to follow it through. The aim is to arrive at that place where writing stems from what the mind sees and feels, not what it thinks it should see or feel. This is the way to find a unique voice.

June 2011 Jennifer produced a sequel to the 2010 hit of the Adur Festival All Things Weird and Wonderful. In Bird of Fire, Green Man and psychic Louise returned in a magical open-air production.

January 2011 Jennifer’s play Reunion highly commended in Sussex Playwrights One Act Play competition. Jennifer’s flash fiction story Uncle George’s Last Christmas short-listed in the Flash 500 competition.
